You may be right about him, but Lane took over USC after the Pete Carroll/Reggie Bush debacle and was signing classes of like 10-15 players every year. Because of that, they had no depth at practically every position.

I just can’t see this. There should not be a pass for a rebuilding year after year 5 for a program like LSU. I think he gets a pass this year but forced to get a new offensive staff (unless things really go off the rails).
Next year if he does similar to this year then he’s done.
