If you're going there then there are about 100 reasons on how LSU was able to hold Wake to 0 runs in 11 innings. Most important was the play by Morgan, but equally Skenes

The play by Morgan was epic. Skenes is great and executed at an elite level but the Morgan play was no where close to “routine”. The guy charges and then flips with a non traditional toss and is on the money.

There’s a couple moments in LSU baseball history that deserve a wall mural sized high def print. That’s one.

The still shot should be of Tre' stumbling to the ground and throwing the ball.

I know it’s a totally different play but it reminded me of the Jeter relay against the A’s.

If you don’t save the game, there are no runs to win the game.

Morgan was indeed amazing. He negated another several infield hits by playing plastic man and shortening the incoming throw. In a few instances his phenomenal stretch and digs were the difference between safe and out. And as for the bunt defense, I've never anyone play a squeeze like that, wow.

I immediately thought the same. Very heads up play.

Yeah, no shite. That’s why he also wrote that this saved the game. OP post was foolish, his correction was on the mark, and your post is frivilous.
