This team will go as far as their defense takes them.

And if that's the case, they will be bounced out in the first or second round of the NCAA tourney. They haven't learned yet how to block out. Why would anyone just stare at the frickin ball as it is shot by the opponent and NOT find a player to put a body on? It's mind blowing and WADE has to figure out how to get this thru to his players. It's a joke the way they stare at the ball. Pitiful for division 1 players.

You still going have to score 80+ to beat this LSU team. They have played terrible all game and have looked out of sync on offense and still going get to 80.

I can't believe I just witnessed a victory.
SC must have had 20 dunks in that game plus a slew of 3 pointers. Watford played well, shot FT'S very well. Otherwise, I can't say any LSU Player played anywhere near their ability. So I guess it is a good thing to win when you play so ugly.

They'll find out how good they are Tuesday night when Bama comes to town.

I'd say it's a great thing to play ugly and win.
I'd take an ugly win over pretty loss anyday.
Smart had a very nice second half, when we needed him to step up, at that.
Trendon was consistent on the floor, and the line.
Cam made what seems like less than avg from the floor, but he gets to that stripe and is lethal.
What I was most impressed with last night from the Tigers was 3-4 times there was some really nice passing, especially inside. Mwani/Trendon down low sticks out.
More of that is welcome.
USCe played REALLY well in the first half and into the second.
Goes without saying USCe was hard to game plan for because of their lack of games this year.
Maybe they were looking ahead to Bama a little bit.
We were down the entire game and Tigers hung around and finished.
That shows some grit, determination, toughness to me.
Good come from behind WIN!
Go Tigers!

I agree.

We played like garbage the first half and we’re only down 4

Not having a physical bruiser inside might hurt us down the road

And the refs did everything they could to frick us. That was absolute dog shite officiating

They let the teams play really physical in the first half which favored USC. LSU’s defense wasn’t great in the first half, but stupid turnovers led to easy baskets for USC. Down the stretch LSU controlled the game on a night when USC came out with more energy and was executing better.

It wasn’t pretty, but you take wins on nights where you don’t play your best

True.
One of the only concerns for this team.
The game coming up against Alabama will tell you a lot about this team.

You literally stated an opinion. You can’t just state it’s a fact and it be a fact. Lies don’t become you.

I think Wade is intentionally using the "strength finders" approach. I quote it because their are several self-improvement books on the subject. It is followed by a number of Fortune 500 companies. He is focusing on the strengths of our players more than improving their weaknesses. Our best players are one on one scorers, and below average defenders.

Wade seems to be all in with it this year. No way he lets Thomas shoot every time he touches the ball and then preach team ball to the guys he convinced to come back for another year.
