I’m getting those vibes as well.
Only difference was the 06 team lost to two legitimate title contending teams. One of which did win the national championship. The Kentucky game this year will always be one of those WTF? How did this team lose to them kinda games.
Other than that, this LSU team is probably the hottest team in the country right now.

Still pissed about waiving off that late PI flag at Auburn. Total b.s.!
On the subject of officiating at Jordan Hare, I have to give the refs credit last week, they called a really good game. They called several holding calls against Princewell that weren’t called against Kentucky. And I never thought in a million years that they would overturn that interception call. Gotta give credit when it’s due.

Announcers were pretty dumb on the dropped INT. That clearly was double clutched with the ground aiding the catch and not clear hand underneath the majority of the ball. That was an easy call to see in the one angle but they made it out to be like they were surprised with not enough evidence.

It looked tough from like 9/10 angles. They just didnt want to show the 1 angle that clearly showed the ball rolling over the defenders forearm. That said I was surprised as well at how cleanly the game was called being at JERdan Hare. Never forget the picked up PI!
