I don’t understand why. When I played sports I wanted to dominate our opponent every game. This team does not have that want. A bunch of selfish fricks at times

Their casual lazy passes are the most frustrating thing in LSU sports.

This sums it up better IMO because there are times that they just let someone take the ball away with ease like Watford did tonight.

They seem to read their own press. On paper, they win the game yesterday with very little issue. Saban calls it rat poison, or outside noise. This team needs to learn to block it all out.

Having said that, this is a team that no high seeds want to play in a tournament situation. ‘21 LSU can beat almost anyone when they play hard, but they can lose to anyone when they play like this.

And they will likely be playing a high seed.

They have a tendency to go into games and think they can win on talent alone and it’s frustrating.

In the words of the late great Herb Brooks “Gentlemen, you don’t have enough talent to win on talent alone”

A few times they could have taken charging they instead tried blocking the shot and getting a foul called on them. The only way to stop those guard penetrations is take a charge and make him think about next time. Little things like that can make it a different type of game.

I've watched enough Trendon Watford at this point that I can confidently say he is absolutely terrible playing on the perimeter, and for whatever reason, WW is adamant on keeping him out there. I genuinely believe we'd be 2 wins better if we kept him in the high post. Absolutely no reason he should be taking 3s as a sub-30% shooter.

Also, I just don't think Cam Thomas is an elite 3 point shooter at this point. I definitely think he will be, and he'll still be a late 1st/early 2nd round pick because NBA teams will see that potential as well, but right now he should focus more on his midrange game and getting to the rim, which I think he IS elite at doing those things - especially at creating fouls. I can't think of many players as good at drawing fouls as Cam.

We lost last night because we settled for way way too many 3s and then continued doing so trying to shoot our way back into the game instead of working to get high percentage shots. That's not even to mention the lack of defense, but I think solving the offensive end would give this team life and help them to focus on defense.

Nobody said cam was an elite shooter did they? His best talent is getting to the cup and getting fouled, then he shoots 90 percent from the line

I saw him take 2 threes last night (that weren't even close) and I only watched the 1st half.
