EdO is 2-12 in games where he trails at halftime. If that stat doesnt tell you that he isnt capable of turning a team around, nothing will

The only solution is to fire him and name Orgeron interim HC.
He's great as an interim coach.

The fans should just quit on the team and hope we don't win out?
lol What? In what world is saying we aren't going to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa and go on a run of 11 straight wins is "quitting on the team." Your argument is arse.
You can be a fan and still be logical. We lost to them by 38 fricking point AT HOME last year. You think we go to Tuscaloosa and have a shot?
It's not even Alabama. It's the other 7 SEC teams. I have a hard time believing we beat Aggy, Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and even Kentucky right now.

If anyone thought we could beat bama before the UCLA game why should 1 game change their mind?
Because the guy I was replying to said "we still have a shot at a natty."
No 2 loss team has ever made the playoff. Including a loss to Bama, we would also have to beat Georgia in the SEC Championship. I do not see that happening and neither should any logical person on earth.

You do know sometimes teams play bad right?
We have played bad for an entire year now. And take away the best player in LSU history, we have played bad about 40% of our head coach's time here.

1 yr but hey go ahead and be overdramatic

I want to believe you, but I saw too many similarities to last season in the first game. If we have another 2020 season, I have a feeling Woodward will move on to a new HC.

Do you have any proof that corrections can be made?

I smoked a bit of weed in my day, but none of it was as good as this!

Honest question. What makes you think this?

An off-season with new coordinators is not enough time. You need games against real opponents to really straighten out. Anyone that thought we would cake walk in Pasadena is delusional

As an LSU fan, I hope so. As an outside observer, I have my doubts.

well that was possible before the UCLA game also

well he is right...odds are terrible but technically we are still in the hunt.

bc last yr determines how we play this yr

They’ve had since the beginning of last year to fix issues…the same issues we had this Saturday.
What trend do you see to believe they will fix anything in the next several weeks? Gonna be a long, hard, embarrassing season

That would be the best thing if that can happen. But fans smell blood in the water and will never be satisfied unless a change happens. What proven coach would want to be under that pressure? Our fanbase is very passionate and i am one of them but i got to believe that a good coach would think twice about being under so much pressure.

Get out of here with this BS.
Most didn’t think it would be cake walk but it should have been a solid win against a MUCH LESS talented team.
They had an entire offseason to prepare and came out as unprepared as could be.
Hell it looked like they didn’t even watch a single second of film from UCLAs first game.

Bro we all want LSU to go 15-0 every year. I want to win out even if we look like shite. No one here is actively rooting for us to lose. We want a reason to be optimistic. We have none (in regards to our Head Coach turning this around).

Well when your team opens up the season and looks like a mirror image of last year's team where no mistakes were fixed and no adjustments were made, you can see why everyone believes the season outcome will be similar to last years

Well a full season with 0s last DC decision was not enough time either... in fact it was historically bad.

I seem to remember after losing to Troy and Miss. State, the season looked dismal for sure- the on a Saturday afternoon-CBS national audience the heavily favored undefeated Auburn Tigers rolled into Tiger stadium and rolled up a big halftime lead- no one gave the Tigers a chance to win that game- but guess what- they did and turned the season around!

I also remember a much better coaching staff at the time, the most important of which were holdovers from the previous coach.
I also remember the 10 games before UCLA where we looked essentially the same.
Not one bit of improvement with an entire offseason to prepare.
