I really hope that we dont keep scheduling these bottom feeder programs in the future. Last season was exciting from beginning to end. Granted it was a very tough road and could give me a heart attack if it was that way each season, but it was meaningful every week. Im ready for some big boy football. Would you rather have the cupcake games mixed in or more along the lines of last years schedule year in and year out?

We needed the cupcakes this year to break in our new QB. Say what you want about JL and JJ, but they had been in the fire before. I wouldn't have wanted an untested Mett to open with Oregon or even UNC.

I dislike the Towson game, but otherwise it makes sense as a schedule for a talented but young team with a new QB.

I would rather have one decent ooc game per year.
Rest can be cupcakes.

They should let all of the freshman play the last three quarters of the Towson game.

Sorry Chuck, I guess Im just too much of a fan and enjoy winning too much to find anything boring so far. Now I dont quite like playing Idaho Vandals and especially Towson a Division II school or what used to be Division II but I have sat through plenty of losses during the late eighties and nineties for me not to enjoy just good ole fashioned butt whippings of other teams.

Also the scheduling the last 2 years has been phenomenal in terms of LSU's opponent having a tougher/rivalry game every week compared to us. It's a part of the success actually.

it's UDub's fault they stunk, not LSU

have zero issue with the schedule

would I prefer a state school over Towson? Yes I would but so be it

I remember the days of losing OOC games....I guess that is what some of you want

and threads like these make me hate all of you

Im not complaining about the wins. I agree that Mett and some of the younger guys needed the reps. Im just saying that last year spoiled me and we are so good at this point that we wont have a game to get hot and bothered about until Bama. Its a great problem to have, but I would rather we scheduled bottom tiers from the Big 12, ACC, or another PAC 12 team. Not Sunbelt hacks, D1-AA teams, or the worst in D1.

Lesson learned last year... having the hardest schedule in the SEC has zero benefit.

Winning in the SEC is all that matters. The schedule speaks for itself
