Really? So, like, if the SEC East representative in the SECCG is a Florida team with 2 losses, and they lose to Bama, giving them 3 losses, they still go...right?

yes, the 2006 season LSU played in the Sugar Bowl, but let's be real, the majority of the time the loser of the SECCG is going to play in the Sugar Bowl.
So he's right, it's very unlikely for us to lose to bama, not play in the seccg, and then play in the sugar bowl.

You guys are still assuming the SEC Champ is automatically going to the NCG.
Of the years the SEC has gotten 2 teams into the BCS (1998, 1999, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009)
1998 - Tennessee*, Florida (TN over MSU)
1999 - Alabama*, Tennessee (Bama over UF)
2001 - LSU*, Florida (LSU over TN)
2006 - Florida*, LSU (UF over Arky)
2007 - LSU*, Georgia (LSU over TN)
2008 - UF*, Alabama (UF over Bama)
2009 - Bama*, UF (Bama over UF)
Only 2008 and 2009 did both participants in the SECCG go to the BCS.

We lose 2 SEC games (one to Alabama).
The SEC East winner (presumably Florida) has 2 losses.
Alabama beats Florida / SEC East team with 2 losses.
We get elected to the Sugar Bowl.
Not all that unlikely, especially with this upcoming season. I believe the SEC East winner could easily have 2 losses in the regular season.

I think Polar Bear was putting out a general assumption not really meaning to be specific. 10-2 and win a BCS Bowl. Got a watch this bunch they will pick you clean if you leave a piece of skin showing.

People it does not matter if we went 8-4. It is how we perform in games. The reason why many consider this season a failure is because all the bullshite play calling, lack of discipline, and such. This season was freaking boring. If we can fix that and we still fall short then it would not matter.

Maybe......I might not be able to cope if Bama fans continued in their arrogance into 2011. I am amazed just how many 'bama' fans now think they own this site
