1/9 was a sickening loss. Saturday was hard nose football. If you can't tell the difference, go suck your thumb and cry your baby arse to sleep. Men compete, and sometimes you lose. I don't give a f--k about saban, the crystal ball in jan. , Notre dames Cinderella story, oregons bs offense. Watch the game you dumbasses, and stop letting pencil necked " experts " lead you around by your genitals.

Reading this site is getting me a little confused, as, I guess, is not surprising. Last week a large # of posters were calling people pussies for conceding defeat to Bama; now many are ok with the fact that we lost. So, you're a pussy for thinking we're gonna lose, but then its okay to be okay with losing? Really kind of hypocritical if you think about it.

I hate this truth, but I must agree. Bama successfully executed the plays required to score more points, like we did last 11/5. That team always "deserves" to win.

The team we saw on the field is the one we've been waiting to see. 10-2 for this season and the sky's the limit in 2013.

Doesn't matter what our BCS ranking is dumbass, we're not gonna play for all the marbles, and that's all people will remember when the season is over. Nobody but us will remember that LSU almost beat Bama. We're playing for a berth in a 2nd tier bowl game that nobody gives 2 shits about. That's the reality of it. If you're ok with that, then so be it, but I'm pissed as frick that we lost. We had them on the ropes and we didn't go for the kill. I don't see how anyone can claim any kind of moral victory after that.

Deep down inside every fan knows that there isn't a game that has the importance of the next Alabama vs LSU game a year from now. It's how we measure ourselves these days. Sad, but true.
Everything else is prelim, or anticlimactic. Even more sad, most of us are relieved with a decent showing vs Bama.

I'm not happy about losing, but I saw some things Saturday night that bode well for the future. A lot of people here didn't think we'd stay within three touchdowns of them. So while I wish we'd won, I recognize that we're on the upswing. We'll be better next year, and they'll be rebuilding, including most likely breaking in a new QB with no significant experience. The shoe will be on the other foot, and I expect we'll take full advantage.
We had just about everything bad happen to us this year, attrition wise, and we're still having a damn good season. That's not going to happen to us every year. Just like Saban is not going to continue his string of good luck vis a vis attrition and off the field issues. What goes around comes around.

He could not be more despised or a bigger douchebag than he was before the game, so that won't change. After watching our team play in our stadium with our fans, I like them MORE than I did before the game.
