I’m surprised they haven’t made a bigger deal out of the fact that he got his two front teeth knocked out in H.S.

I'll argue this point. They are all 3 likely pretty good hitters. They just made the step up into a new level of baseball and likely haven't quite caught up to the speed of the game. I'm expecting Doughty and Milazzo to get into a groove, and Cranford to be serviceable down the stretch. There is literally no way anyone should be writing off any of these freshman only a few games into the year. Just a ridiculous statement.

FYI, when you have a catcher that can absolutely control the run game, you don't have him in the lineup to rely on him to be an offensive asset.

He’s not from ville platte. And we had 3 catchers committed while he was on his way to mcneese. We weren’t going kick any of them out of the class at the time he changed his commitment.

I think Arnold takes over at short at some point but as long as one of them can bat in the 250 range and secure the middle, I will be fine.

He's from VP originally. Danny moved to LC a few years ago. I didn't see Silas play last night but he's doing good so far this year. He's started 4 games. He's just a freshman. Danny is an LSU fan. Not sure how hard LSU recruited Silas. He's got another son who plays for Lamar. But LSU got a great one in Milazzo.
