It's incredible how all of this is being handled on every side. It looks fairly obvious we broke some rules. It also appears that there isn't any real proof of a violation right now. Fans that are acting like the "offer" was playing time are being blind homers. The media is acting like this doesn't happen every day in football and basketball at big schools. What I am most interested in is at what level do you have to be to throw out "We are handling this matter internally" and no one asks any more questions. Bama has made a living off of it and things go away. Same with UF, OSU, Duke, UNC and so many others. My take is that you are naive if you think we did nothing wrong and you are just as naive if you don't think nearly everyone else is doing the same. I just wish we could issue the statement that we are handling it internally and it would go away. What are we missing at LSU to be able to pull that off?

It is not about if Wade did anything wrong, it is about can anyone prove it that someone got money from LSU. If you can not prove it then shut up and drop it.

Every time football doesn’t file a receipt right the Compliance Dept does an investigation and suspends players games and I’m supposed to believe Wade waltzed in here and broke every rule in the book and no one noticed?

Not really... Real proof that we broke rules aren't known to be in hand or available, but a recording that has WW speaking to an offer made is pretty obvious of doing such.

i was wondering if that Simmons documentary on Showtime got too many eyes on us and Wade, and if the NCAA wasn't looking to stick us for something in retribution
