Post his SEC record.

Well it's certainly better than 3 wins, which has become the New Normal in the McMahon regime. Just five wins this season would have resulted in a 17-15 overall record.

It's completely crappy to hold him in limbo waiting for Wade though. He's either good enough for the job or he isn't.
You're not totally wrong but that's the cost of being terrible. If he had shown anything they wouldn't be able to treat him like the backup plan and he could go get another job if he felt he was being wronged. Since he's clearly not good enough he just has to sit there and take it.

This.
While I'm sure it's not a great feeling knowing your employer (or at least some with the financial and/or political means) is considering getting rid of you, he doesn't have much leverage. LSU would probably be happy if he left on his own and he has no major conf. market to even match his LSU salary
Sitting there and taking it is his best financial option

I dont think they will let McMahon go unless they know WW will come back. Seems like BK was let go earlier than expected because they knew Kiffin was in from previous talks.
Also the football hire bought enough good will for the athletic dept where they don’t have to do anything desperate and might not want to hit up the boosters again so soon.

I feel sorry for the man but come on. We have got to start winning.
