so how about give a comment on what the OP actually said?

Okay, the subject is about not understanding LSU baseball fans, right?

I think he is confusing baseball fans with idiot Rantards who just have to bitch no matter the subject . And then you have the idiot trolls who just want to a get reaction.

It’s a good discussion to have without going off on a tangent about posters you don’t like.

It's not about who I like and don't like. There are too many to even start to make that determination. That is my point. The cockroaches are out - the ones who probably care and need to be listened to are being drowned out by the trolls and roaches. Just like the football trolls and roaches who are never seen anymore.

Doesn’t look elite to me.

Three hitting coaches in three years is not the easiest thing to get used to. They will all have different philosophies and styles. It’s still too early to tell if Eddie Smith is going to be an improvement or not. Let our young guys develop throughout the season.

As far as pitching goes, it would’ve been nice to have these same guys healthy their whole LSU careers. It would’ve been nice to not have to have Hess be a starting pitcher. Who knows what our records would have looked like if we had healthy pitching staffs. Kind of hard to win when you have to score so many runs just to keep up.

We are finally in a situation of having very good young players that can have great careers. Sometimes that doesn’t happen in the first few weeks of a season when you are forced into starting immediately.

There are no more “elite” programs. No one is going to the CWS every year, much less winning it.

The baseball program is with complacency now in a worse way than football was two years ago. Six National Championships, all the trips to Omaha, and a lot of people are ok with milking that to their grave. I’m not one of those people. I thank Mainieri for what he’s done since he’s been here, but I agree with you. It’s time for him to step down. He’s trying to just sit on his retirement paychecks coming in, do just good enough to get by, and ride that bitch until he’s good and ready to quit. Every now and then he’ll get lucky and experience a deep run in Omaha (like 2017). But that will certainly be the exception and not the rule.

And that’s extremely selfish to anybody who doesn’t have the last name Mainieri. I want more. Just like I wanted more in football. And boy did we all ever get more! But to get that, sometimes the nice old coach who everybody loves has to be forced out because they will never step down themselves.

What other team is this not the exception for?

So that’s everyone disappointed right now?

Not sure what you’re talking about here. Are you talking about the other threads you start, or THIS thread? Because you didn’t start this one. Just confused by your comment.

As are passionate LSU baseball fans disappointed with what they’re seeing, no?

I dunno about that. If anything he may be putting too much pressure on himself. Every loss the look on his face is like somebody just died. He used not to be that way. I think like the fans wants another championship before it’s all said and done.

You may have missed it due to your inadequacy in reading comprehension but I said this in my post. Go read it again. The part about the real fans being drowned out by all the cockroaches.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but you can probably explain that a little better. You expect us to just assume what you mean without much detail. I stand corrected for now, though.

Damn dude, I said your reading comprehension was inadequate, leave it at that.

I really don't know how I could have been any clearer for you without the use of crayons to make an illustration of a cavemen stick-figure and fire and shite.

this was in my post genius:

I’m in recovery.

I really tried with you this time, man. You’re impossible.

OP, sorry this happened in your thread. I don’t agree with your premise, but I enjoyed our back and forth.
