SouthEndzonekittycat,

How can you say TS is bar none the loudest when you haven't been out of the south? I'm not saying it isn't the loudest but you haven't been to the 'shoe either, have you? VY said it was the loudest place he's ever played. OSU players have said Penn State in 05' was the loudest stadium they've ever been in (the original white out that started the craze).

Why were you sitting in the Visitor section?

umm... we did a "white out" against Vandy in '96 and a few others. We had a "white out" game against Florida in '03... the only game we lost that year.

It was hardly original.

I'm just stating what a lot of people said after that game, and that it was like 'the game' that started the whole use one color thing. I know it wasn't the first time but it was the biggest time from everything i've heard

It is amazing that the yellow shirts around the stadium magnify the beauty of TS.

Well, it may be the "biggest" because there are more people in Happy Valley. But in '03, Tiger Stadium was pretty damn white, with the exception of the Florida section. But that game was not loud. We had one good play the entire game -- a punt return.

He played in the Big 2 Conference, so it probably was.

i'm not sure an lsu fan can adequately understand how intimidating TS really is
you know what? your right. its all ive ever known. ive only been to ole piss, so i dont have a large quantity of data to compare, but ya-- all i know is showing up and being as loud as i can be. its nice our opponents feel TS is as intimidating as we tigah fans want it to be.

ive never heard anything as loud in my life as when they announced that SC had gotten upset by Stanford. Anyone else remember what they were doing at the time? Someone 2 rows away had a radio so the news was trickling across my section and it was utter disbelief.

ESPN's sky-cam view for the VT game made the stadium look pretty nice. See second half of this video: LINK

I was in the 'Shoe for the UT/OSU game in 2005 and I can attest first-hand that it was loud, but nothing like what I experienced this past season at the LSU/UF game.

Florida gets loud, although I probably don't give it enough credit because I've sat on the top row of the upper deck a couple of times...

But Auburn in '04 when they scored the touchdown to tie it (before the extra point fiasco)...that got about as loud for an away game as I've heard...

Still, that didn't come close to a couple games in TS this year, or the 4th down play in 2003 when Lavalais stuffed Cadillac....just awesome!
