all this mess because he fricking hates LSU. He knew LSU fans dislike him ever since he moved the LSU-UF game to Gainesville.
Btw, this is the feeling I have today. After the FBI had the wiretap of the conversation between WW and Dawkins, they sent it to the SEC Commissioner to review it, probably months ago. However, Stankey kept it for himself until last week before he leaked it to Yahoo Reports. Because he knew LSU would go on and win the SEC Title, so by doing this will hurt LSU basketball program and they don’t have to give LSU SEC title bonus and all that.
Don’t you think?

That's obviously silly, but I could see him holding it in case he needed it at some point, and that point came sooner than he expected.

I think it’s likely JA asked Sankey what the SEC would like him to do. That way he could say he took the advice from the conference on how to handle this.

No, the sec was going to let us ride this shite out. Sankey is too much of a bitch to have anything to do with this.
You can say what you want about them protecting teams. But they absolutely want more teams in the hunt. The SEC did it in football and baseball, why not for the biggest draw in March?

I have no evidence about this being a conspiracy against LSU, but I know for a FACT (from an independent source on the inside with no skin in the game) that the OP’s comments about Sankey hating LSU is accurate. Also accurate about when it started (UF debacle). The whole #freeDevinWhite thing took his hate to hyper level. Just sayin’, he won’t pass up an opportunity to screw us, but this one fell in his lap. This one’s gonna hurt, for a long, long time.

Sankey didn't attempt to sabotage his best chance to bring a natty home to his conference in basketball this year. I know people are upset about all of this but think it through.
