Quit blaming O for players leaving. These players have been pampered all their lives and the first time something doesn't go their way, they pout and want out. Dealing with obstacles is just a part of growing up. We want warriors out there, not quitters. O built that team last year by recruiting high caliber players and hiring great coaches. Just because some players didn't get their arse kissed, they want out. Well then, get out! We want players that want to be a part of LSU, regardless of what obstacle may come their way!

Why should O be fired for a player opting out because he body hurts?

So no matter what happens across the spectrum of issues it’s always everyone else except the constants fault? The probability of that is next to impossible. Deifying a title is never a good idea.

Have you heard the rumors that Ensminger plans to retire after the season?

Not outside of this board, but I am not very connected.

So far like you said it’s just a rumor so let’s see what happens.

This is just my opinion, which doesn't mean much, but I think O got lazy after winning the national championship. He made lazy hires.

He got divorced and then soon after there are pictures of him coming out with him and some other woman. Then the weekend the Florida game got cancelled, the picture of him and the other woman came out.

He was out in New Orleans that weekend. That's his personal life and I get that, but you can't help but question where is his focus. Does he/did he think that a national championship would buy him a few year?

And there are no leaders on the team. Yeah, we lost a lot last year, but its supposed to be "next up".

As for as the Gilbert situation. I think the "his body hurts" think is bullshite. If he went to O and said that, O shouldn't have said it to the public. If O was making it up to deflect from the fact O had said he was home sick, why the hell would he have thought that was a better thing to say?

Either way, whatever is going on I blame O and his coaching staff. O makes $6M a year. He is the captain so whatever happens is on him.

some of the earlier signs we had seen in 2017.

The Canada thing was a terrible look. I know he’s gotten a reputation as not easy to work with either, but he needed time to implement that system and he wasn’t blessed with some special talent at QB. Etling wasnt awful and he had heart, but he was average at best.

I have no inside knowledge at all, but friction with staff doesn’t surprise me a bit, given the Aranda dissing and earlier Canada problem. Also may explain why a guy like Munoz hauled arse.

Aranda took the high road regarding O, but it seems hollow now. Also makes you wonder if not only the players but the staff may have quit on O as well.
