From Wikipedia: Grimes has helped developed a number of highly-rated players. Twelve of his former players went on to play professionally in the National Football League including Andrew Carnahan, Edwin Harrison, Matt Hill, Drew Hodgdon, Levi Jones (the 10th overall pick of the 2002 draft), Eddie Keele, Kyle Kosier, Jake Kuresa, Scott Peters, Tyler Polumbus, Travis Scott and Scott Young. Nine of them were awarded All-Conference honors including Carnahan, Hodgdon, Jones, Kosier, Peters, Scott, Kuresa, Young and Hill.

Nice, and it doesn't seem like he is a guy that will be gunning for a promotion to OC anytime soon. Would be a good hire.

I must not watch enough NFL football. I don't recognize any of those names.

Then he has done his job. The only time you hear a linemans name is when he screws up

Already an upgrade since Coach Stud didn't have a Wikipedia page. And he could have made his own page!

He is a stud in terms of recruiting from what I have read. Being at LSU should make that even better for him. I just really hope he is good with the actual coaching up of the players. That is more important IMO for OL coach.

Every starter on the Auburn offensive line in 2013 was recruited by Grimes.

I just don't see how that same line being terrible the 2 years before he leaves and then being awesome after he leaves is a plus. I really hope his coaching is as good as his recruiting.

why is it necessary to make fun of people who have given LSU years of quality service and, considering the circumstances, did a pretty creditable job?

six all SEC olinemen who helped to create four 1Kyd backs while trying to handle two jobs and the oline injury plague last year. can't we just say thanks and good luck? some of you guys act like back-stabbing jr. high twats.

welcome Coach Grimes...to what, we're not sure.

All of that above were great comments and should be what is done, kudo's for saying it.

Then you followed it up with
quote:

.to what, we're not sure.
now that was a douche comment.

How about welcome to the greatest state, college and football program in the country!

Very few OL starting a bunch of FR and SOs ever do well.
