Be honest with you the weakest link, or should I say biggest question mark, is Denbrock. To me anyways... as it stands today (yah yah, it's fluid!).

I ask myself, would I be happy with that staff if Ed o hired it? That’s a good way to test it, I’d say yes

Why tho, Kelly runs the offense and calls the plays. He’s the TE coach

Orgeron would still be here if he could hire a staff like that.

Looks great, let's see where we sit after 3 seasons.

I have the confidence that Kelly will get it done!

This is a good staff. It’s not incestuous; made up of buddy-buddies.

They are brought in from all over—good recruiters, Xs and Os competence. Different backgrounds, personalities that command respect, personalities that relate to the players, etc.

A good house cleaning was what we needed and that’s what we got.

If that were true, that would be one of the reasons.

But what I said was actually meant to be an offhanded, but assinine, compliment that Denbrock is the weakest link.

The real dynamic is that Kelly is strategy, Denbrock is tactics. In other words, the game planning is primarily Kelly's job. Come game day Denbrock will execute that plan by calling the plays.

You’ve got some great teachers, motivators and some great recruiters. But by all accounts, this an elite staff. And it solidifies things in N La and NOLA.

I’m interested to see what the recruiting staff ultimately ends up looking like and how guys like Shamar Wilson (la tech recruiting coordinator) and Jordan Arcement fit in.

Throw in the changes in S&C and things are going to be real interesting over the next couple years.

tAlignment is real

Yeah I’m not worried at all with Denbrock. Him and Kelly have worked together before and I think Kelly is going to be more involved on offense then he has been. I have a feeling we’re going to come out and sling it next year

I question Denbrock, hankton, and Cooks hires. I’m floored with the rest though. I can’t believe we got Polian as special teams coach he’s already paying huge dividends In recruiting.

Denbrock is a fairly established OC.

Steeples as the CB coach would be the biggest question mark for me.

This is what I’m most excited about. We’ve been pumping out fat lineman and been out worked for too long. It’s going to be great to see a nutrition program that isn’t just eat gumbo.

Yeah, I'm hoping we see a version of Kelly's Cincinnati offense, not Denbrock's Cinn offense.

But that comes from a position of fandom. What I should really be wanting to see, and this is exactly what I think they will do, on a year to year basis look at what they got and run what fits the personnel the best. Kelly, more than Denbrock, definitely has a long history of that.

Yea, I think it's a great staff but on a related note is that if CBK can recruit this coaching talent, I feel completely at ease on him recruiting players.
