i didn't think the rant could progress past "you can't say anything about a coach unless you submit your resume to be the offensive coordinator, dummy" but the new "you can't say anything about a coach unless you SAY IT TO HIS FACE pussy punk" is taking rantardation to a whole new level of awesomeness.

i kinda like it. It puts a whole new spin on a very old and boring argument. That's gonna be my new catch line...."SAY IT TO HIS FACE, BITCHNESS!" that's got a nice ring to it.

Baloo--I cannot totally disagree with your opinion of letting your best hitter swing away with a runner in scoring position...BUT being down by 1 late in a ELIMINATION game against good pitching with runners on 1st and 2nd w/ no outs it is a no brainer bunt situation. There are a multitude of ways to score from 3rd w/ 1 out without getting a hit. Not to mention that it takes the breaking ball in the dirt out of play. PM's "gambles" are starting to get old and when they do succeed he is not a genius he is lucky. Coaches should put their players in a situation to succeed and 2nd and 3rd with one out is a much more successful situation then 1st and 2nd with 1 or 0 outs

I havent read all the pages of this thread...but you say "ya..he's a GOOD coach" ..then blah blah blah..
The guy has won 3 National coach of the year awards. He took Notre Dame to the CWS...he's won 2 SEC championships...He's won a NC...he's won 8 FREAKING STRAIGHT conference tourneys...etc etc etc
It's beyond moronic to say he's just a "good" coach. Now is he beyond criticism?...well..no...but it would be nice for the criticism to come from people with a little more knowledge than most of you idiotic rantards.

And don't even try to put Dorsey in the same category. Don't get me wrong - Dorsey was awesome but Suh was just a beast and almost single-handedly won the Big 12 CG for Nebraska.

And there defense will still be awesome without him. Its not even the production as much as it is the scheme they use is much more aggressive than what he used at LSU

Pelini also had an offense at LSU to help him out. We didn't have to completely depend on his D like at Nebraska
