No decision has be made about contraflow. All they've done is alert the public to the possibility of mandatory evacuations and contraflow. Saturday was mentioned when the early forecasts pointed to southeast La for a Monday landfall. The plans will change has the forecast continues to change.

OFF THE SUBJECT, but is there a spread on the game? I haven't seen one or is Div 1 & Div 2 off limits?

Are you serious? Is there a spread? There is a hurricane and we aren't even going to have a game.

LSU is a 24 point favorite.

There's gonna be some pissed off people that aren't going to the game and were counting on watching on tv!
Why do you think this is funny? Many of us live in other states and cannot make the games. We look forward to seeing the Tigers whenever we can on TV.

My "sources" are saying 11 am kickoff. We'll see if they are right.

ESPNU just reported that game will go as scheduled 5:00 est.

What in his post makes you assume he thought it was funny? I read it and simply agreed with it. If it gets moved and isnt' on TV people are going to be pissed.

Les Miles to Michigan.
Bill Parcells to the Falcons.
2005 USC football might be the best team ever.
Not saying this isn't true. I would just like to hear it from someone else first.

Canceling or moving the game has nothing to do with Gustav directly but with the need to evacuate the entire southern part of LA, TX, MS potentially with contraflow before it gets here. Not saying what the right time to make that call is but it will be made as that thing is coming our way.

He asked what the spread was. That is where to find it.

yeah, it makes a difference

I won't believe this until ESPN has Dr. Lou come on and tell me so himself.

That would suck and make no sense. 5 hours will accomplish nothing, but I realize state officials are in panic mode and feel the need to do something. Even if it makes no sense.
