1) Red zone execution. Anyone who didn’t watch the game and just looked at the stats will probably woder how the hell did LSU lose this game?!? Offense’s ability move the ball but total inability to score when it mattered killed us

2) Coach’s decision making. Likely one of the worst called games I’ve seen in a while. It’s almost like lane is overcompensating for the UK “not going for it on 4th down” and it’s not working. Several bad decisions gave Bama a short field. Kicked it when he shouldn’t have. Then went for it when he should have kicked. The most egregious call was going for it on 4th and 10 with 8 mins to go in the game deep in our own territory.

Lane was pressing yesterday and it affected the outcome of the game. Our inability to run the ball outside of a couple Jones runs was why we couldn't score in the redzone. Our OL got punked, particularly the three interior guys. Very disappointing that we can't beat any of the good teams on our schedule.

Texas and Tennessee both have really good defensive fronts. Could get ugly with how the o line looked yesterday.

I would say #2 is more important than #1.

Like you said, Lane was pressing and instead of going with the sound, common sense football decision, he went with the gamble every time. Every time except for once, he lost the gamble.

He should have tried to pin the Tide deep instead of trying the 58 yard FG. He should have taken the FG instead of going for it on 4th down. Every bad decision deflated his own team and gave the Tide confidence.

The big moments seem too big for Kiff.

This is what you get at times with Lane. It’s awesome when it works and really frustrating when it doesn’t. A 4th down conversion for a TD basically ended the A&M game.

And, yes, he’s got to beef up the OL next year.

This is the correct response. Kiffin lost that game on the 4th-and-8 from his own twenty with 8:49 left in the game. That was one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen in my 56 seasons inside Tiger Stadium.

It feels like a lot of people didn’t really watch Lane at OM. This is exactly what he does.

The gambling is awesome when it works, and it’s painful when it doesn’t.

I got crucified saying I agreed with Lane NOT going for it on 4th at Ole Miss. FF to yesterday and y'all see what you get when you do.
