Kelly signed 4 players from HS that were drafted: Will Campbell OT, Emery Jones OL, Maason Taylor TE, Harold Perkins LB. I could be wrong but I think all 4 were already committed before he got the job.
I am counting all signees under Kelly, even those that transferred to another school. I am also looking at players we missed on that signed elsewhere; I don’t see a lot of those names in the draft roll either. Poor evaluation of talent.

Yet Bama extended Kalen DeBoer..
If Kelly had won 20 games the last two years and made the playoffs and the SEC game, we would've left a Brinks truck in his driveway. Deboer won four games against ranked teams in four weeks last year. Kelly won five games against ranked teams. In four years.

Watching Kelly phone it in over the last couple of years has been very hard for me. I couldn’t understand why LSU hired him and I couldn’t understand why LSU kept him.

I agree with you. Let’s face it, BK was given the bank and I don’t believe he gave a damn whether the team won or lost. He had the money so it didn’t matter. Pounding on the table after the USC loss, and calling fans spoiled, was all for show.

He was hungry and actually coaching guys up at Notre Dame. He thought he was going to walk into LSU and just waltz into a natty. It don’t work that way bruh. Not in the toughest conference in the country.
