We’re paying him 2.5 million dollars
O is brilliant.

These negative fans are so anal and mentally disturbed, that if you went into their restaurant wearing a "Make LSU Great Again" hat that supported LSU's football coach, they likely would refuse you service!

Don't let 2006 get to you. If you look at his post history you see he is a miserable negative individual. He is definitely apart of the cult led by justice.

Some are trolls from other schools, and some have become so obsessed with hating o that it actually rules their life. Truly sad. I've never known a miserable/negative person that was successful.

There are certain teams that can out bid LSU, so don't dare any. This is the year with LSU's D-line depth, is going to be the year Aranda really shines, further proving he is the best!

Meh. Firing Canada is viewed as good news by some and apparently bad by you.
How is firing Canada a positive? If O could’ve kept his ego in check we could’ve been entering this season with some continuity on offense.
They weren’t the first HC/OC pair to be at odds with each other. Most others don’t take the easy way out.

GTFO dude. Canada sucked. Bad hire. Keep spewing your bs, frick. You miserable pricks can't enjoy life, no way, you stay on here promoting misery and negative propoganda. That's a horrible way to live your life.

Dude, calm down. You’re too busy attacking people and their personal lives over a disagreement in a sports debate.
Have you ever heard yourself speak?
If you’re so positive, why to do you speak so negatively about people you disagree with?
You contradict yourself at every corner.
I’m sure this post will come with resistance too. Ready...go!

Canada has not stayed long at any university. So, most (if not all) of his bosses have taken the "easy" way out, as you put it. Should have been a red flag before he was hired, but O not the first to be fooled. He must interview well.
Apparently there was major division with him on staff according to reports. Just bc a bad decision to hire him was made, you don't have to compound that decision by keeping him on staff. Whether you agree, or not-- that's the positive side of firing him.

Relax. Goldrush may disagree with many of my posts... but his responses have all been within the realm of reasonable debate.

False. He had only been fired by a head coach once before this. The same head coach who hired him at two different schools.

6 years at Indiana, 8 total?
OC’s don’t usually stay places in college, very long, regardless.
Doesn’t mean I don’t think there wasn’t some unwanted beef between him and Orgeron and he needed to go.

Ok, now go check what Aranda's longest tenure at a university is.
Point is, most assistant coaches move around a lot. It's a lazy assumption to say Canada didn't stay anywhere long, therefore he's an a-hole who can't get along with anybody.

Almost as lazy as putting words in my mouth that I didn't say and then comparing length of tenures of Aranda and Canada as if the two coaches are the same. There were reports of Canada not getting along at more places than just here. I've never heard these reports about Aranda. Have you?

Thank you for pointing that out. Healthy debate is what this board is all about. Everything doesn't always have to be an argument or a "this side, that side" situation.

As an OC it appears this is his stays:

There isn't anything healthy about goldrush. 100% negative, 24/7, for many months. In fact, he and justice run a close race for most consistent/continuous negativity over a course of several months.

Lol. I agree. That's why I posted the tenures. However, you will note that was his first job.

What words are those? It's been an off repeated narrative on this board with little evidence to back it up.

Link?
The only verified report I've ever seen was at Wisconsin. I posted the article a couple of times myself. He butt heads with Bert for meddling with the offense. Bert backed off for the B1G championship game and Wisconsin scored 70.
Again, Doeren was the only head coach to fire Canada before LSU, and he was his OC for 4 years (1 at NIU, 3 at NC State).
