Since when did we start doing this though, examining every year as its own entity without past results being taken into account? This seems like something that hasn't been afforded to previous coaches.

Not sure what you did, but I judged every LSU coach by that coach's record at LSU. if you want to go back to hiring decision, I agree with you. I would not have hired O to coach LSU based upon his past records. However, I'm passed the hiring point, now. Only O's LSU record matters to me... just like every other LSU coach. Is 9-4 up to my expectations? No! That is why this year's results are crucial.

We all know getting Joe was a really good get for LSU.

Most us also know he was going to be a reserve at OSU. So, he has questions about his ability that have yet to be answered as does most of the offense.

Then most of you don't really know much, as in according to most reporters covering Ohio St., Burrow won the job, if the decision was based solely on the spring game.

You make it sound as if he was just a reserve, when the outcome was much, much closer than that!

See there's being positive and there's people getting carried away. When you say things like this and it turns out to not be that, that's where the criticism comes in.

For the record, it was a sports reporter that posted LSU is QBU, the sports media are giving LSU an abundance of positive coverage, and LSU fans are criticizing them for it.

Yet, 2 of those outlets, you mentioned, do not have us ranked.
I wonder how positive they think the news really is?
It’s positive for us, sure, but I think they may just be reporting the news in the offseason.

So, you think the best QB on the OSU roster transferred to LSU? You think reporters have a better grasp of the better QB than UM?

I want some of what you are smoking. No wonder you are so positive.

O's past performance this offseason

He is 1-1 in the offseason. He fired a OC that a year ago he raved about that has caused the offense to be behind. He landed what seems to be a quality QB who is on the team.

Wouldn't it be nice to not have to cherry pick positive news to fit your agenda?

Orgeron certainly failed when picking his first offensive coordinator, I agree there..

However Orgeron succeeded in landing an Oline coach landing a legit starting QB, and hanging on to his most important staff, such as Aranda.

There are teams such as in Texas who would match the salary of LSU.

1. Most people ask for more money to make a lateral move.

2. YOU'RE MAKING THAT UP. Literally no one pays any coordinator as much as we Pay Aranda.

We either matched or offered more than any offer he got.

Meh. Firing Canada is viewed as good news by some and apparently bad by you.
Hello pot! Lol. You accuse me a cherry picking but you leave out all the other good news of the off season. You might want to look in the mirror.
