Did you mean in the West?

I remember how little faith anyone had in Dabo. They thought he was an embarrassment

This is Orgerons year to put up or shut up. Neither your opinion nor mine will matter in the least.

He has to do two things to make LSU return to elite status

Close out the 2019 class in great fashion
Win at least 10 games including the bowl, and beat Bama

LSU isn't getting a Meyer, Saban or Dabo to come here

You missed the point.

Didnt miss the fact that you're in full melt/whiny bitch stage a good 7 weeks before the season starts.

I don’t think you’re talking to anyone who would ever believe that would happen.
I think what you hear mostly is the frustration of what we were dealt.
Orgeron is the coach, until he’s not, until then he has to prove something to quiet the criticism.

Yes.

Anything else you want to discuss or just standing up for Ree?

He's got a very good chance of having an elite season. That's so horrible

How would you define “very good chance” and “elite season”? I assume by elite season you mean, bare minimum, an SECW title

You think LSU has a "very good chance" of making the playoffs?

He does have a chance. Never said he didn’t.
I have a chance of winning the lottery too.
Just debating the % of those chances based on current evaluations of his abilities to lead a team.
We all have an opinion. We all need him to succeed or we’re right back in the same situation of the unknown with a new coach.
I’d rather not go through this over and over.

If he does those three things this year, I would be on board.

At the least, a NY6

In Jimbo's ACC championship seasons, Clemson finished 11-2, 11-2, and 10-3. That includes a Peach Bowl win over LSU and an Orange Bowl win over Ohio State.

In their national championship season, FSU were underdogs at #3 Clemson.

Not competition?

Good post. I really didn't know.

So FSU had one team to contend with in the whole conference? Clemson is all? Maybe that would explain why Clemson was 11-2, 11-2, and 10-3. Beat Clemson and go to the NC game.

Not "elite" anymore. I get what you're saying though.

He has a very good chance to have a very good season.

They had the #13 SOS and went 14-0.

LSU had the #27 SOS last year and went 9-4.

I would say it is. Winning gets you a top ten finish.

The defense will be top 5 most likely. Just need the Oline to be solid
