I think it’s clear that it’s Wade or McLoser next year, which was an incredibly dumb position to take.

Incredibly disappointing when you think about it. Would be happy with Wade obviously but the idea of another possible year with the loser is a disturbing thought.

Not surprising though. We have amateurs running the athletic department and they either don’t want to deal with the issue of men’s basketball or are too incompetent in knowing how to even address it.

They don’t care about the fans one iota.

We can have all the details in place before April 1 and could just go ahead and fire McLoser.

Also NC state absolutely would have an incentive to lower the buyout to buy themselves two more weeks to get a coach before the good ones are gone.

It’s a bit of a dick move to hang on to MM until April 1 and limit his chances of going back to being a mid major coach. Also that sets up a wade or McLoser as the only options scenario and that’s just bad business

What’s even more disturbing is that we have some of our own “fans” that not only want the loser back but are almost giddy at the thought of him returning. The worst case of Stockholm Syndrome that I’ve ever seen.

These are “fans” though that probably couldn’t tell you what the elbow is on the court so I’m not totally surprised. Not an independent thought among the lot of them.

Yea highly disappointing and I’m one of the biggest Wade fans but I’d take him not coming if it means we rid ourselves of McLoser.

If he is back we legitimately could get close to losing money on basketball despite the tv deal.

I would imagine the already low season tickets get lower, the already joke of actual attendance gets worse and we will be trying to give away tickets. The low attendance brings in less merch and food sales.

It’s completely embarrassing we ran free ticket gimmicks twice.

Exactly. We have people in charge that don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Very bizarre to leave everyone in the lurch like this.

I don’t know how anyone that has an iq above room temperature could seriously want 17-55 back.

It’s a weird group of loyal fat Scott guys that don’t want the last vestiage of him purged, maybe some athletic department shills, and a few really weird I support anyone at LSU until they aren’t types. Then of course you have Butt Pirate who fits in the below room temperature category.

That wouldn’t even happen at a mid major. The idea that it happened at a P4 is shocking.

The McMen somehow think that the free ticket gimmick is a lie even though it 100% happened. No reasoning with them.

I don’t see how they think that was a lie. It’s pretty easy to verify we did that.

We have an AD that just treated the second revenue generating sport like its girls soccer or girls basketball.

I feel like if the Wade is coming back stuff truly heats up this week, NC state might see it as a business reason to just take 2M
From us instead of them being in a pickle until April 1

Bro you’ve been getting cryptic these last couple of days.

I won’t press you to divulge but I gotta say, I’m intrigued…

Is this meeting good news for the good guys?

I’d like to keep hearing seeing that nc state failed on their NIL commitment and that we despite having a coach 17-55 committed more than they would.

That should bode well for us

I'll offer his record vs McMahon's (who was supposed to be the X's and O's guy) as evidence to the contrary. Maybe it wasn't great, but it was good enough. And what he lacked in that dept, he more than made up for in analytics.

I wish I could just tell you but it’s hinging on one thing really. There’s a Tiger Rag article from 9 days ago that hints at it.
