I was in second row midcoast in brooklyn on tuesday night. It was a disorganized mess. It was basically stratal with Ben trying all the fancy passes while not attempting a shot. Antonio was jacking it up anytime he got it. The one player that didn't get shots was sampson and he can actually shoot. Quarteman is doing great on both ends of the court. This team needs Hornsby and hopefully Victor will be as advertised. How about running a half court offense instead running and gunning and jacking up shots.

I didn't see the game tonight but saw the others. Love love love Ben, but if he doesn't prove he can consistently knock down a 15-18 foot jump shot, I expect defenses to sag way off to prevent his penetration. That will limit his effectiveness. Of course that doesn't work when we're on a fast break, but in a half court set, that's what I expect defenses to do. Would love to see him drill a few jumpers, then he'd be unguardable.

JJ is my least favorite hire that Alieva has made. I felt it was a bad idea at the time, but he does have Collis in his corner and is an LSU guy. He needs to figure it out quickly. 3 losses in a row doesn't seem to be acceptable at LSU.
