Why don't they just say - "Finally Ole Miss is ranked enough to compete with big brother LSU" * - Only ranked but did not actually win

Now I thought that both teams were Top Ten when they met in 1963, and also in 2003

Ole miss was 15 going into the LSU game. Had two bad non-conference losses and their only conference loss was to LSU.

That SEC Western Division Champions 03 is a classic! That alone, along with the banner's placement, should be enough to put Vaught-Hemingway Stadium into the National Registry of Historic Places!
