some of these ESPN people probably attended some of them...

what if ? all commentators had to wear a Name badge like with the school they attended ???
kinda a "fairness disclosure" concept.

OSU has done nothing but dominate. They have a huge fan base and great tradition. I don’t take it as a slight to LSU when people think another team is better. Right now you could rank LSU, Bama, and OSU number 1 and make a legit argument for each and not be wrong.

The only team that has proven their dominance is LSU. Oklahoma has at least beaten Texas. Going with the schedule played so far and using those outcomes, LSU should be the most talked about team. The others have a lot of work to do to catch up to what LSU has done this season.

Sure, there is a lot of football left to be played, but if I didn’t hear some east coast bias, I’m not sure what is.

Ohio is the Midwest.

I don't know about ranking schmanking but OSU looks pretty damned good to me. Fields is a serious dual threat. Their ground game is strong as hell, and they can throw it too. You just can't tell while they play such weaker teams. Wisconsin will be the real test for them.

Has the OP even watched them? They have and will go against some good defenses. Time will tell but they look very very good

They have played no one, but they have looked really good doing it. In my opinion the 1-4 is pretty interchangeable. And frankly it REALLY doesnt matter where you land 1-4 as long as you are 1-4 at the end of the year. It makes zero difference.

I agree but there is a little difference providing there are two SEC teams in that final four.
Hypothetically I would not want to see a 4th ranked Bama vs a 1st ranked LSU or visa versa in the playoffs even with an LSU playoff victory. Ohio State or any non SEC team should get a piece of the SEC action in the playoffs providing there are two ranked SEC teams available to play. my worthless .02

We are talking about what was said on ESPN radio last night when OSU was the only team playing...of course they will get the love. I’m an LSU fan and homer and have no problem with anyone touting OSU as number 1. They are an elite program.

This fact becomes ever clearer when you watch the History of SEC Football series on SECN.
