I was in Mumbai, India last week and ran into a guy wearing an LSU hat. I said "GEAUX TIGERS" and he just smiled and said "HI". Found out later that he was from Louisiana but did't go to LSU...so I guess that's understandable.

Your response to this, and the ONLY response to this is "Geaux Tigers". Not "Hey Man" or even "Alright!" I thought ya'll knew this!!!!
I have given plenty of "Geaux Tigers!" in my time (travel quite a bit) but have never received one. If I did...especially if I was GT'd off guard (which would most likely be the case), I'd probably respond with, "Hell Yeah!" and then strike up a conversation with the source.

i have done the "geaux tigers" before, but i prefer to do a BA BA BA DA.... ala pregame... i have gotten some geaux tigers in response to the pregame notes.

"Geaux Tigers" is the response I have always given and gotten.
My son, however, was in NYC last summer and had two different gentlemen approach him to talk about LSU. No, he doesn't have teh ghey!

I was in Vegas last week and wore LSU gear all week on the strip, not one Geaux Tigers, but leaving out Thursday in the Airport I got two, one from a couple from the parish and another from an instructor at the LSU Fire and Emergency Training facility.
BTW: I always respond with GEAUX TIGERS!

I was in Mexico a few year back and gave a guy wearing a LSU hat a "Geaux Tigers" and he responded back with a "Hell Yeah". I thought it was an acceptable response. What do you think?

I drop Geaux Tigers whenever I see anyone here in Alabama with anything Tiger on, but I was in the LaGuardia Airport and said it to someone wearing an LSU hat and a national champions shirt and they just smiled...I'll never waste my time saying it again.

Living in Texas, I take great pride in giving and getting "Geaux Tigers".
I LOATHE both UT and A&M.....I also take great joy in reminding UT fans how they got jobbed out of the BCS game this year....

i was getting on the plane to go from colorado springs to dallas, and as i was walking down the plane's aisle, a guy gave me a quick "geaux tigers!" as i was passing by, seeing i was wearing an LSU hat..i looked back and said "yeah man!" but i didn't know who said it and didnt respond immediately with a GT since it caught me off guard

We do this too with "Geaux Tigers" and should do it.
I've always say or scream geaux tigers when i see LSU Nation around the country. Not in Louisiana, everyone is an LSU fan. I Especially love yelling "geaux Tigers" in Alabama or Texas, around Bammers and BEVOs.

I've had a real bad "response" rate with this in both Houston and in Pensacola now. If I see anybody with any LSU apparel on, they'll get a GEAUX TIGERS. More often than not, I'll get NOTHING back at all.
