There's Good and Bad News

The good news is we have a very much needed extra week to rest up, hurting as we are for the big game. The bad news is Bama is enjoying the same extra week off. Seems like this has happened forever.
What is the criteria for determining when a team gets its Bye Week? Who makes that decision? Does LSU have 'when input’ or is it etched in stone by Birmingham? Will OK and TX joining in affect our bye with Bama?

Nick Saban and the REC get that hammered out in the off-season.

I may be mistaken so don’t quote me, I believe the coach decides on the bye week. I may be wrong

A home game on Halloween night would be fun but it won’t happen with the bye week before the Alabama game which has been on the first Saturday in November for several years.

I would much rather play a team like Army the week before Bama and then have the bye week after.

We should always want our bye week before Bama.

It's like they haven't gone through this ever before
