While we're in house cleaning mode in football operations, will someone please, in the name of all that's Good and Right, fire whoever is responsible for the excruciating rap and hiphop music that blares throughout the stadium at every opportunity!

The DJ techno music or wtf it’s called is bull shite.
My first game was vs FSU my freshman year in 1983, I lived in North Stadium Dormitory. I used to have season tickets, but I stopped going to games when they started with the piped in music.
I want to hear these things at LSU games in Tiger Stadium:
The Golden Band From Tigerland.
The crowd.
The crunch of the LSU defense hitting the line.
The ref's whistle.
And the only thing I want to hear from the PA system is Dan Borné.
We had one of the greatest bands in all the land. Get rid of the piped in music and Make Tigerband Great Again.

Yes, TS was once hallowed ground, a physical embodiment of the unique passions and loyalties of southern Louisiana. I cannot tell you how much I loved it on a Saturday night in fall. Arguably my favorite place on the planet earth, without exaggeration. There was nowhere else like it in all the precincts in all the world. I would get goosebumps every time I squeezed into my bench in the SEZ for the four corners salute. The gods of sport lived there. The ghosts of legends on the sidelines. The crowd was a single wild voice.
Now ruined and diminished by lazy, apathetic dabblers who cannot even be troubled to stay beyond the third quarter, who are daunted by "traffic" and mesmerized by the glowing screens of their cell phones.

BK shut that shite down.
Look at the bright side, now ND is back as a revered site....all it took was for BK to leave

I can only hope there is a change. First game I ever went to was as a freshman in 1976. Was not a Tiger fan but I was after the game. Tied #1 Nebraska 6-6 (and should’ve won). It was so amazingly loud and raucous the whole game. Been season ticket holder for 35 plus years and my kids were raised in Tiger Stadium. It has a special place in my heart. But truthfully the racket of the gangsta rap and not letting the band play and the incessant offensive chants and rude behavior of the fans has really killed the family atmosphere we used to enjoy. Now my 3 and 5 year old grandkids ask what does it mean to suck a Tiger’s di**. I get it in the student section - it’s always been irreverent. But keep that trash and foul language (to say nothing of the lyrics of those songs sung by the white thug wannabes around me) in the student section only. I have had as many as 12 season tix and brought hundreds of guests and Tiger fan concerts to the stadium but I’m just about done. Tailgating is pathetic compared to what it used to be. Sigh. I know I’m getting old but subjectively it’s just bad. I guess I’m gonna have to try to get an appt with the new AD at some point if I’m ever gonna set foot in the stadium. Might have to buy visitor’s section tix or just go to away games to experience decency and family atmosphere again. Painful actually write this.

You better be sending big checks to the AD if you don’t want any endorsement deals
TS is sacred. Having a sponsor logo on the field etc does not diminish that.
What will diminish TS is if we let the team become a bottom tier roster that gets humiliated in home night games (Alabama last year, A&M this year).
It takes money to be competitive in college football now.

Hope it helps you...but we ain't gonna read all that Facebook stuff.
If youre saying TS is different, I agree.
A comparable example is when I go to the gym. I do NOT care about all the tv, ac on full, tanning, etc etc. I want old school, get after it, sweat my arse off...weights and cardio.
Same w TS...I wanna go, eat cheap shite, hear the announcements and try and be loud enough to drown out the other team trying to snap the ball.
I actually start to hate going to games...from the travel, parking, walking forever...then getting a stale product, with a jackets coach, and fricking pussy players that make a tackle or a catch, and jump up like they scored in the super bowl....it just bad.
Speaking of scoring....what in the actual frick do people get out of turning off the lights bullshite? And the blaring music?
I wanna hear the crowd screaming, you know, the real ambiance....the reason you didn't sit home.
