There no NCAA Investigation and Wade is not on trial by the FBI

Alleva and King suspended the best basketball coach we’ve had in 30 years for a motherf*cking yahoo article.
We caved to guys like Dan Wolken and Clay Travis. Those shitheads are professional ant pile kickers. They’ve built their careers the same way that Stephen A and Skip Bayless got famous. Say outlandish, stupid shite and see if enough people will talk about it or click on it.
Joes made some awful decisions before. He’s proven in the past to be indecisive, hot-headed and a poor leader. Now he’s shown that he’s spineless and weak.
A yahoo article. That’s why Will Wade isn’t coaching tommorow. Not the FBI. Not the NCAA. A yahoo article.
I wish someone on that Board would magically grow a set of nuts and actually hire a real AD but I’m sure they’ll let Joe continue to make LSU into a laughing stock and put more advertisements up. frick it Joe, just shave the capital one logo on the side of Mike. You’ve continually given our State and fanbase the middle finger with absolutely no repercussions, why not just see how far you can go.

What I dont understand is that they suspended him for not coming talk to them ... if his lawyer said he cant talk about it... could it be that since he was called as a witness in the FBI case he CANT talk about it? Did they even consider that?

The administration knew all of this information almost 2 full months before the season even started. Either make this move then or ride it out.

I agree that Aleeva is spineless and I want that POS fired as bad as anyone. However , Wade refusing to come in and discuss this shite forced their hand here if that’s what actually transpired.

Would we have done this yesterday if LSU was a bubble team and .500 in the SEC? I think not. The timing of the Forde article is suspect. Either the Dawkins camp wants to muddy the waters for their trial, or someone doesn't like LSU as a 2 to potential 1 seed, or both. The timing of all of this stinks.

If LSU’s administration truly knew this information in advance, then shame on the administration for letting Wade dangle after letting him coach the season. They should have referenced it in a formal statement, basically treating it as know (and old) information knowingly released by a defendant in a federal investigation. Additionally, the request to include this previously known information in the federal trial was denied by the presiding judge.
I would assume LSU spoke with Wade’s attorney after the story was released, he said he wasn’t producing his client for reasons related to the subpoena and the administration then used that as the crutch to publicly demonstrate some form of weak action.

This line right here is just the sort of sanctimonious crawfishing that the administration would like us to accept.
Not that I disagree with you that Wade is responsible for discussing whatever he's discussing on the phone. I agree with that much. But LSU, as others have already pointed out, knew about this long before yesterday. So for them to suddenly do their "duty" to "protect the school" now is the definition of hypocrisy.
