Bech, I'm rewatching the film and tbh none of our receivers were really getting that much separation on a lot of these plays but if there's one down where you HAVE to have Bech, its 3rd down, Denbrcock or Hankton or whoever needs to get this shite right going forward

Find you a girl who loves you the way Denbrock loves Mason Taylor.

That’s fair especially if we aren’t going fast and have time to sub.

CBK is committed to using a TE in his offense, sometimes two when he has that kind of depth, has always been that way.

I've always been curious why teams do this. You see NFL teams do it all the time, they'll split a FB out wide. I've always assumed it's for personnel reasons (specifically defensive personnel) but I would still rather an extra WR on the field going up against an extra CB.

If they’re in zone you can still get a LB covering a WR.

Teams usually match the number of corners on the field with the number of receivers. Using a TE or a RB split out does two things. One you can get a good idea if they are in zone or man and two you may get a TE or a RB matched up with a LB and that should be a winnable matchup.

If you switch Taylor for Bech you will be facing a different defense. With Taylor, you have the threat of a running play that is lessened if you have Bech. So they put a LB in to cover Taylor, where they have an extra corner to cover Bech.

3rd and long teams are running their nickel and dime look, doesn’t matter if they are using a flex TE or slot receiver.

How about if Taylor was in on second down and we didn't want to sub for third down?

Yes

Absolutely not. He literally said that we need to get away from this in a press conference. I didn’t see much of 2 TE this weekend other than short yardage & goal line
