JL didn't look good starting out 2 for 5, 20% .JJ was 1 for 3 starting out ,33%, but JJ gets criticized even though he doesn't get a chance to bring his percentage up like JL.

Really?

The only controversy is why Lee remained in the game after the second series. Playing Lee kept Tennessee in the game. If Jefferson doesn't start the second half, this would have been a 1 score game going into the 4th.

Ignorant speculation.

What other than tucking the ball and running did JJ do to make u think we need him in the game at all?

Nothing. But tucking and running can be a pretty valuable weapon if used in the right spots. It makes the defense account for the QB as a runner every play, leaving one less defender against the other play makers.

I don't think JJ should get more than about 10 snaps a game, but using him sparingly in the right situations can help this team.

JJ played the majority of the second half, which is far more than he deserves to be out there.

Deserves?
Seriously you said that, Dorothy?

Ok I get it. You are joking. You couldn't possibly be that stupid.
Could you?

Maybe Les has a developmental plan?

If so, Mettenberger gets PT today. It's clear todays use of QB's was for confidence, not development. The roles of both were well defined today.

As much as I hate government regulation, I think I could get behind breeding licenses.

There is a clear leader in that offensive huddle and his name is Jarret Lee.

I'm talking about team development. The season isn't over and Miles has some things he wants from this team. There are things he thinks they can do and he is developing; bringing them along.
The guy is really football smart. Fans see things a play or a game at a time. A good coach sees things as a season long project.

We all need to remember that Les Miles knows more about football and more importantly about this team this year than any of us do.
Sit back and enjoy his work as it unfolds.

I just don't understand how you people can get so worked up over this QB stuff. We won a game on the road by 31 points, and JJ came in and actually sparked our run game today. He isn't going to start anytime soon unless Lee gets hurt, so until this QB rotation costs LSU a game, why don't you just settle the frick down and enjoy watching LSU beat the shite out of everyone.

This should be the case, but I am not so sure. I think some of the players really want JJ back, even though JL has done what he's done. RR seems to favor JJ even though his receiving numbers are way up with JL at QB. Did anyone notice that after the long TD pass on the second play of last week's game that JL ran down the field to celebrate with RR and RR blew him off?

We don't NEED lee either dude. Either qb could have lead this team to where it is right now. It's not about who is playing QB.

It is becoming very obvious that this team is much more dangerous with JLee in the game

It's obvious to me that we are dangerous with Lee in the game.

But it really isn't that crystal clear to me who's the MOST dangerous though.

Actually during the game I thought about how well Jefferson was playing.

But I do agree there is no controversy, Lee should and will be the starter, and that da tigas are saapuuurrrbbb to ANY utha skewls with the conferences dat we play in.

Both qbs have moved the ball I dunno what games you've been watching. With the way our D is playing the QB doesn't even matter. With JJ or Lee playing 100% of snaps we'd still be ubndefeated with all double digit wins.
