I love Coach Miles but he screwed the pooch here with the OL.
The OL would've been ok without the defections.
Sometimes with coach changes these happen, no matter O's "seamless" claim in the binder. Maybe he should've paid more attention to his players.

Let's not forget how Miles took the 2009 OL, one of the worst in recent memory, and morphed it into a Bama beating 11 game winner.

I recommend Studrawa. Great tech guy and previous OC at BGU and LSU(2011)

We're not talking 2005-2007 Les. The Les of 2014-2016 is objectively worse than Jim Harbaugh and I'm honestly shocked people are agreeing with you otherwise

Smells of disingenuous cherry picking.
Miles also rebuilt LSU from 13-commit affected 8-5/9-4 to 13-1 NC appearing team, setting precedent for ability to repeat the feat.
CLM averaged 3 losses/yr, right where JH sits now, and likely headed again with an unquestionably more blue-blooded program than LSU.
JH still has much to prove to pass Miles imo.

It's really not though. As a whole, looking at their respective college careers, yes, Les clearly has the edge. But RIGHT NOW are you saying you'd take Les over Harbaugh to run LSU's program?

Do y'all even pay attention? Seriously?

When Miles was fired there were 15 scholarship OL, and only one was set to graduate or go pro.

Honestly both are good coaches, but I'd likely go with JH for the age factor.
Still it remains to be seen if he can take the next step of playing for the title and has lost a couple head-scratchers lately at UM, so I don't see some chasm between them.

It's a good thing they live so far away. If they lived closer to LSU, they wouldn't want him anywhere near Michigan football.

As far as humiliating goes, the fact that he is avoided like the plague by virtually all Athletic Directors should be humiliating enough.

Not to mention, the three offensive lineman that left this spring because they weren't good enough and the fact that the true freshmen that just came in this spring or summer zoomed right ahead of the backups on the depth chart.

Yet most people blame O and his alleged piss poor coaching for all our problems. Instead, of Les' piss poor recruiting. In their eyes, Les can do no wrong and should still be the head coach at LSU today, and like everything that happened somehow wouldn't have happened under his watch if he were still head coach today. Yeah right.

Derek, please give it a break! We know you and Coach O are very tight and he gave you a 100K job to watch social media and try to say good things about him but its a little over the top now. The Poli board is full of delusional people and I wonder how some of them can function in society and beginning to wonder about you and the various alters you created to support O.

I'm all for giving Miles credit, but I was referring more to recruiting than actual coaching. Our QB' s have been running for their lives as long as I can remember. The elite OL from here and we were recruiting always went to other schools.

You honestly have to be a complete and utter homer if you really believe Miles is a better coach than Harbaugh.

Hell Harbaugh could still be winning divisional titles in the NFL if he wanted.

My God.
