I will disagree with this one. I believe anyone could have played QB and LSU could still be undefeated. It's about the lack of turnovers, not game winning drives. The QB position is vastly overrated on this team.

Roger, this doesn't sound like you at all. I can't believe you said that.

The hypocrisy is insane. People complaining about the int's Jefferson nearly threw. Lee had balls he threw up for grabs that should have been picked in every frickin game. That's the reason I knew he would throw picks against Bama. Lee threw 4 passes against WKU, and 1 was badly underthrown to an open wr and another one should have been picked.

Jefferson throws a pick against Arkansas, in a game that ended in a blowout, and people go nuts. Lee throws 2 in back to back passes in a much closer game against Bama, and people have already forgotten about that and think he gives LSU a better chance to beat Bama than Jefferson, even though we saw those teams play it out already. It's like people hate Jefferson and love Lee so much that they completely blocked out the Bama game.

LSU wins games with Jefferson the same fashion that they were winning with Lee, yet they won because of Lee and in spite of Jefferson. Yeah, Lee really lit up the joint with his 98 yards against Oregon.

The offense was smoother with Lee running it, even though in the last 3 games of the regular season Jefferson lead an offense to it's 2 highest yard totals and the highest single game point total.

Jefferson only played well against bad defenses, even though LSU has really only played 2 good defenses all year, Bama and Georgia, and Jefferson was the qb to beat both those teams. Not like Lee was playing tough defenses. And how about those 19 points against that vaunted MSU team?

Bottom line is both guys were screwed by Miles and Crowton not knowing what they wanted to do. Jefferson just happens to be able to run more of the offense than Lee because of his running skills. That's why he's the starter. And why aren't you all pointing fingers at the rest of the offense in the first half? They all stunk, especially the o-line.

And Mett should have been the starter this year anyway. He's better than both and is why everyone thinks the team will be much better next year.

* He would put JJ in for a 90% running down, but not JLee for a 90% passing down.
* He would yank JLee for two INTs (against a dominant Alabama), but not JJ for an INT and a safety (against a markedly inferior team - W. Kentucky)

If you can't figure out why on these things, you really shouldn't say anything. First of all, there's no need to pull qb's for passing and running down's with Jefferson as starter because he can do both and it confuses the defense more.

Secondly, turnovers are much worse in a close game against Bama than they are against WKU.

And just to point out some more hypocrisy, Jefferson gets hated on for pouting when he wasn't starting, which I didn't even really notice, but everyone feels sorry for Lee when every shot they show of him is like he's not even part of the team anymore.

Links?? Or are you just conveniently making shite up to fit your agenda?

Everyone pretty much agreed with sitting JL during the Bama game.

One of the reasons I decided to post was because I was reading in a thread and people were saying Lee gives the team a better chance against Bama. Believe it or not, I don't care. If it's that important to you, look it up yourself. Like someone else said, you try and act like you are objective, but your bias is clear.

So no links. Got it. 99% of the fan base was perfectly fine with Lee being pulled vs bama. shite, I will say 99.999% since we can just make shite up on here and claim it's true.

Really? So why all the whining about wanting Lee back in for the rematch? Why all the complaining about Jefferson's almost picks against Georgia and the one against Arkansas in blowout wins, but people want Lee back in after his int's in a close game against Bama? Perfectly fine you say? Seems to me this board blocked out that Bama game.
