It makes Orgerons job harder to manage a staff outside of his comfort zone. Orgeron would rather have less talented coaches that he is comfy with than have to manage personalities and make sacrifices to his own ego.

Basically LSU’s potential is limited to make Orgerons job easier.

They showed us at A&M that when they have a lead, they will not take a risk and throw it on 3rd down to try and get the 1st down/win the game on offense. This mentality irks me more than words can say, but it is a reality I have come to accept

I think you're only partly correct. and the conservatism was what drove me crazy about les. O and Steve can go all out - they've shown it, but I agree in some games they go too conservative. I want us to go for the win, like you say, every damn time.

when alabama gets a 4th and 1 inside the 35, they seldom think about it- they go for it. go for the damn win!

In almost every case, I would agree with y'all on the A&M game. But, considering how LSU shut down A&M in the second half, I thought Orgeron made the right call at the end to run the ball. It took a lucky, fluke play in which the QB picked up the ball with his knee down for a split second for the game to continue. I realize the counter argument is that he may never have had that chance. We have no idea if LSU would have gotten a first down of they had thrown though. If it's me I run the ball and play defense in that particular situation 100% of the time.

Now you know football ball, some of these play station players thinks real football works like madden. If the man throw an int it would have been why he didn’t run the ball. They have no clue about football, only what ESPN tells them or some other outlet. Running the ball was the best decision..

I’ve said it before and I will keep saying it. The offense problems come from a vowel and it’s not E

Frustrated. I get too emotionally invested and then gravitate towards depression. Because I know we can do better. Much better. And it's without explanation or defense that we don't. Every hope I had when Les was fired has been dashed. Just frustrated.
