We ran vanilla and tried different things against a inferior opponent. I can say with great confidence we won't look the same against Ole Miss.

Our D Line seems to be doing a helluva job. I'm not worried about what they are doing in the least and am surprised that you are.

They are. Just nervous.

Man, getting everyone's best shot all year is very tough. They should be back on track against ole miss. I would like to see us beat them handily with few mistakes while being efficient with no turnovers

Their mind was clearly not really in the game this past week, just as most suspected. They wanted that one over with

We still won by 33 pts.last night. This team comes at you in waves on D. We just wear people down. When we're focused, I think we outlast anyone.... too much depth.

This has nothing to do with last night. I am sure they just wanted that game over with. Les was obviously experimenting as well

The entire team sleepwalked through the first half. I guess it was to be expected after the game the week before. I worry more about our O Line pass blocking and our QB inconsistency, but think it was probably just tough to be focused on WKU. We'll find out against Arky.

That's odd. Montgomery and Mingo lead the team with 7 and 5 sacks respectively. Next highest is Logan with 2 followed by Mathieu, Brooks and Adams with1.5. 5 guys have 1 sack, three of which are Dl.

Haven't researched it but my guess is our sack count is ok. Nonetheless, we don't typically get lots of pressure with just our DL.

I'd say that is a fair observation. Other than Mingo and Montgomery off the ends we haven't really been pressuring QB's consistently unless we bring blitzes from either Baker, Mathieu, or in the case of last night Brooks. In 03' LSU was nasty on defense because the front four could pressure the QB on every play with no help. That just isn't the case this year and Arkansas is a team that could expose this weakness if it doesn't get addressed. Luckily we have a pile of good defensive backs that we can use unlike some teams who would be covering Arkansas receivers with guys with little playing time. This could help us if blitzes have to be used to pressure Wilson.
