Sending on their sniveling shill to tell us how the refs got the call right.. absolutely pathetic and the guy sounded like a complete retard when KP and other announcers started to question him and he just ran off.. disgusting antics by the SEC

I've looked at a replay of that several times - the homeplate ump actually called the runner out (raised his right arm with closed fist) immediately after the tag.

What caused him to reverse that call?? - or did he say he didn't make the out call???

This looks worse than it did in real time to me - and none of the explanations make any sense at all.

It would have required one of the other umps to specifically state that they saw Neal step on or in front of the plate.

Which never happened. That’s why our staff kept asking them to confirm that the call was overturned by another ump.

I was surprised that no reporter asked him, the judgement call was incorrect on replay, does LSU deserve an apology?
