The only thing that sustains the myth of Will Wade "greatness" among otherwise serious folks is the incompetence of his successor.
Set aside the checkered and unimpressive record Wade left behind, does ANYBODY think W. Wade is the best we can do?
Of course McMahon must go, but Wade is not the answer for anyone who aspires to elite program status, unless its a long shot program like McNeese that has nothing to lose.

He had the highest winning percentage of all SEC coaches during that 4 year stretch and made the NCAA tournament every year but 1. He was screwed out of coaching his best team in the tournament by Alleva.
You can throw shite against a wall and THINK people will believe you. You must be think this is California or NYC to try that weak arse liberal tactic of spewing shite to cause question.

If I were ever elected governor I’d cut funding to LSU until they did away with Scott Woodward and brought Wade back

You ignorant liberal frick. He had the highest winning percentage of any LSU basketball coach in the HISTORY of the program through 5 seasons. A program that half our slap dick fat arse fan base doesn’t even care about. John Brady made a final 4 run and still couldn’t string together 4 consecutive tournament caliber teams.

I’m guessing if they break up with a chick they lay on the sofa and cry for a year and spend the rest of their lives wondering “ what if?.

This is not about Will Wade as much as you think. For me, it is about what Woodward had to do to get the NCAA to agree to leave football alone with the self imposed actions taken by the university.
Now, Wade screwed up for sure. If football wasn’t caught up in Title IX and every thing else i.e. Alexander OLOL crap, LSU would likely not have given a crap about what the NCAA and pulled a Kansas. That report didn’t reveal anything that would have been anything remotely close to his firing. Probably just suspension.

This is what the AD wants you to believe. It was not what happened. That would have worked in cases handled by the NCAA committee on infractions, but the IARP did not operate that way. It was very clear from the case that went through that process that the IARP didn’t give you brownie points for firing coaches, especially not coaches in other sports.
This was not about the IARP or NCAA. It was about TITLE IX and all that $$$$.
