Don’t even try, you can’t convince these people with any information that will sway them. Even when he doesn’t get hired there will be a group of people that will still continue to post about him coming back until they die. I’ve honestly never seen an infatuation so deep with any head coach at any school, maybe ever. It’s weird.

You may bench 300 but you're retarded. In no way did I say YOU were a fat slob. I'm saying that LSU basketball is the fat slob and LSU basketball fans should thank their lucky stars to gaze upon Sidney Sweeney's tits.

He sucked in March and his teams played no defense.

God you're really dumb as bricks. We would be lucky to suck in March. We don't know how CMM's teams play in March because we are never playing basketball at that point in the season.

quote:

oo many other coaches out there to bring back meh Will Wade and his 1 and done in March

Ok. Who?

BTW I am by no means saying we need WW. Just this idea that our shite basketball program is better than WW is dumb as shite. Hence LSU BBall being a fat slob that thinks a smoke show like Sidney Sweeney is ugly...

To be fair, you can still be fat and bench 300. It's not mutually exclusive.

I can verify this as I currently am somewhat of a fat slob and can still bench 315

Is it really that weird? Or is there a pretty simple explanation for the desire to have him return? Fans like winning. They don't like losing.

From 2018 - 2022, LSU fans got to watch the basketball team win at the most consistent level in decades. At minimum, LSU was an annual participant in the NCAA Tournament. LSU reached 3 straight NCAA Tournaments. Something none of the prior 3 HC's ever did. And there was no reason to believe that run was going to end in 2023. Then the administration fired the coach. A new coach was hired. His four-year tenue has been one of the worst in program history.

Maybe it's just me, but I think its pretty easy to understand why fans would want to see the coach they watched win a lot of games return to replace the guy they've watched lose nearly 80% of his games against SEC opponents. I think most people nationwide would agree. In fact, if this discussion were about any other school the same posters on here who "can't understand it" would be saying that other school was crazy for not wanting to bring back a winning coach, at that school, to replace one of the worst coaches in program history. Yet, somehow when the names LSU and Wade are inserted into the discussion logic (for some) goes completely out the window.

Even before Wade was fired. Even before the cheating allegations. It was a certain type of LSU fan that obviously didn’t like him.

“Streetball!”

“Scheduling nerd! Analytics nerd! Not a good “bench coach.”

“Can’t maximize talent! He’s a poor man’s Dale Brown!”

“He yells at the refs!”

People either just don’t like or are fickle at best towards basketball. So when it’s doing well for the first time in years, people are going to hate the catalyst.

You could never tell how people really felt about Brady because he was a dick back then. I can only imagine if the tiger rant existed in the 80s, Dale would have had plenty of haters especially from the ncaa god fearing goodie two shoes AOL chatroom moms.

Did you not read The Rant the first couple years with Mac?

There is some justification for the respect for Wade.

How many Tourney appearances have we had since John Brady?
Since Wade?
