It was a lot easier to "love them" when my tickets were twenty-five dollars each during the Dinardo era . Its getting harder and harder to be a "true fan".

Dinardo era > Hallman era

This is true, but no matter what happens, I love and always love LSU. I was raised to love LSU and nothing will ever change that! I was just pissed that when I was at LSU we sucked arse (Hallman era), but we still went to the games and had fun. It is always easier to be a fan of a winner. I never get upset by band wagon fans, when they show up it just means we are good!

who will be the fan that will LOVE LSU going 12-0, wins the National championship, and has a Heisman winner, and who will still love LSU if they go 0-12…. Hell, 7-5…
Depends on what you mean by "LSU." If you mean someone who "LUVS LSU!!!", but does nothing but bitch and badmouth the players, the fans, the coaches, the administration, the field, the stadium, etc., then I don't want the sorry fricker around my program. He's worse than worthless because he drains energy from those who truly do love the school and the program, and he's much worse than a bandwagoner because the bandwagoner will just move on when things start going badly; this bastard has just been waiting and hoping for things to go to shite so he can relish in making everyone else miserable with his bitching. Hell, he's more likely to move one when we get back to winning National Championships.

11-1, loss to either Bama, Florida or Tennessee, win the SEC Championship Game and 50/50 on getting into the National Championship (which of course we would win as the SEC representative).

We should be improved from last year and I would think that would mean an improved record

Not everyone has made this assumption. I have seen no evidence of an improved offense, in fact it may very well be worse than last years.

9-3 this year boys, but hoping for more!

Of course this is Germans, but like other people have said, I was bred to be a Tiger, went to LSU, worked at LSU for awhile, and now live in Nashville because of work. Dont get the chance to make it back for home games anymore (baby #2 on the way!!!) but I try to watch every game on TV or at least follow gametracker on my iphone when I'm traveling for work and get phone calls from buds watching the game.

9-3 this coming year.

Losses to UNC, Arkansas, and Auburn. LSU beats both FLA and Alabama this year.

I do and will always LOVE LSU and be the biggest fan of every team that sports the great Purple and Gold. That is a constant and will never change. It's in my blood. It's like I don't even have a choice in the matter, you know. The passion runs bone deep. That doesn't mean I can't lose faith and trust in a coach though, and for many that happened last year. However, when we face off against Carolina, I'll be giving the coach another chance and will pull for my LSU with the same fevered passion as I always do because it is and always will be about LSU.

The schedule looks like a monster this year facing UNC and WV OOC. I see us finishing 8 up and 4 down.

With exactly the same type of performances displayed last year(Yeah, ouch)I could see this team going only 7-6 with a minor bowl game against this very tough schedule. That being said, I truly believe that both sides of the ball will be improved. The key is, how much improvement and which side of the field gets the majority of the good fortune this year. I think it will be moderate improvement on defense(making it a top 20 national scoring defense at least)and between moderate and drastic improvement offensively, shooting for a top 40 scoring and yardage offense. That could add up to 10-3 with a New Year's day revenge victory over PSU. Should the good fortune chips fall LSU's way this season, things could go slightly better. Let's hope.
