Has moved us into an Elite position.
It really can’t be understated and should be taken advantage of by Kiffin and our Athletic department to the fullest extent while the iron is hot, and I’m sure they will.
I guess the reason I bring this up is that I always knew that Saban had/has affinity and love for LSU, but him continuing on network television with other talking heads about all the opportunities and benefits the state of Louisiana has, as well as the needed financial backing has really moved us up even further up the totem pole of College Football recently IMO.
For example before the Kiffin hire, most talking heads would have said the LSU and Florida job are just about equal as a Football program and its resources across the board.
And I would have agreed.
Now, because of the very public comments made by the GOAT and Lane taking the gig, people are in full belief when speaking about LSU and Florida(& other bigtime programs) that LSU is a superior opportunity with not many arguments against it now.
Are we on the verge of our second “Golden Era”?
God I sure hope so, because we certainly have the opportunity it seems with Saban being an obvious supporter of our program and seemingly even more so after his retirement.
The best part about it is, it rips the Gumps hearts out every time they hear about it.
Good times are on the Horizon for sure.

I just want to know where Saban would’ve told Lane to go if both LSU and Bama jobs were open
