Finally, a positive thought. This board has been intolerable of late.

Up voted because I believe most of what you said but

and as good or better of a recruiter.

This has yet to be proven. And I'm not judging based off recent events (that's expected in a coaching change)... Miles was just that good

I believe.

I think Matt Canada is exactly what the offense needs. Of the little I've observed this year, he used quick-developing misdirection plays masterfully against aggressive, talented defensive fronts like Clemson and Penn State. It made the defense sit back and wait rather than read flow and blow through the line. And it opened up the short/intermediate passing game to get the athletes in space with the ball.

Aranda is on board for at least a year or two more, and that gives me the warm and fuzzy feeling that the defense will continue to grow into his system.

If LSU can secure a good ST coach who can recruit north LA, to start rebuilding the fence, LSU will bounce back a lot quicker than most of the doom and gloom on this board indicates. We need north LA on board with LSU and not the other schools in the SEC. Of course LSU can survive with out-of-state recruiting, central LA and south LA, but the North LA talent and attitude among the recruits/coaches is keeping LSU from reaching max potential.

I am highly critical of the handling of the football program recently, but I also have confidence that they are learning quickly from the mistakes and criticism. They are now identifying targeted coaches and doing what it takes to land them. Herman and Kiffin may have never wanted to come to LSU, but LSU appeared to want them and waited around for them without locking them up or identifying a lack of interest.

Fair. But from all indications and observations, it is a decent prediction.

I'm just happy O did what he said he'd do and surrounded himself with very good coordinators

Thank you Miles for Aranda too

Absolutely. Miles also gets credit for much of the roster, as well as Coach O being on staff.

2) Coach O will be a way better CEO-style coach than Miles (won't meddle in coordinators job) and as good or better of a recruiter.

Where is the evidence of this?
