The Ump was. . .but

The ump was obviously bad last night. A strike zone will be different from ump to ump, but an ump should ne\bver be inconsistent with his chosen strike zone. LSU did not lose the game because of the Ump since he was garbage for both teams. We lost the game because JJ was playing checkers and a 30 something Director of Analytics for Wake Forest was laying chess.

He literally changed the zone from top of inning to bottom of inning. It was terrible and game affecting. My 11 year old could call a strike zone better than this paid professional at the highest stage of college baseball.

Did you watch the bottom of the 6th? Wake didn’t throw strikes down the middle that were called balls! Wake threw balls that were called strikes.

Do you see the difference?

Baseball is one of the few sports where an official can determine a game but baseball is one of them
