re: The truth about Adam Miller

Nothing you’ve posted is relevant or refuted anything I said. If you don’t know how to evaluate actual basketball and can only regurgitate statistics you’re just compensating for ignorance.

Cam Thomas also led all freshman in scoring, shot at a much higher volume, was a better free throw shooter, took significantly more difficult shots than Miller, and could actually lead an offense. He never shot anywhere close to the 1-1, 2-12, etc. splits we see from Adam.

One of these players is a good scorer in the NBA and the other will never touch an NBA court.

But go ahead and strawman what I say. As far as saying what I'm saying isn't relevant, I really have nothing other to say than look at what I said when I discussed his driving tendencies and shot form.

You just did exactly what you said you didn’t do. Your % standard didn’t hold so you moved on to another one based on the player comparison. Had I compared him to some other player you’d be used a different standard to move on to. You can’t be objective when it comes to this topic and it’s obvious.

You literally strawmanned a small point of my argument and are now saying that I'm not being objective.

I'm not moving the goalpost on the percentage argument. The percentage argument comes with the context of Miller's role in the offense and the number and kinds of shots he gets.

They aren't the same and neither is Cam's percentage to Adam's.

There’s no straw man, at this point I doubt you even know what it means and yes you moved the goalpost which had been described multiple times in detail. What’s even more telling is that you continue to try and do it while claiming you haven’t done it once.

I've followed basketball since I was like four years old. It's always been my favorite sport. The sport has changed so much within the past few years. My age has nothing to do with understanding of the sport. If anything, people from my generation think people from yours have outdated views and takes and aren't up to date with how much the game has changed.

I respect all of you but I think inevitably there will be a rift between generations due to different views and perspectives. At the end of the day, we all love LSU basketball and want the team to win.

The whole purpose of my post was because I dislike all the Ace apologetics because I find it an extension of the WW fanaticism. Point blank, WW is gone and there's no point crying about him being gone anymore. We need to move on and support CMM while he's here.

I don't dislike Ace, quite the opposite. I'm just upset that he is falling short of expectations. It's made worse by the fact how everyone wants to defend him on here when there's no reason to. Y'all can criticize and critique every player on the roster but want to go out of your way to defend Ace. It's illogical.

Yes he’s young and ignorant and I’ll give you a perfect example from this thread. So the FIBA video was posted to illustrate physical differences between pre and post injury Miller. The first thing he did was jump to dismiss Millers then just a paragraph or 2 later he’s using that same performance to attack Miller. So at first it doesn’t count but then when he figures out he can use it all of the sudden it does count in his twisted context. Just proves he has zero objectivity or credibility when it comes to this topic.

I literally go to every home game and watch every away game on TV. There is no sport I watch and support more at LSU than basketball, even football.

I feel like my criticism of Adam might come off as emotionally harsh but it is backed by evidence. He is just not good, and that's that. Whether it be from his injury, role on the team, or whatever excuse you want to give him, he is simply not playing well.

I personally don't think he's any different from Illinois and is simply not equivalent to the hype. I'm glad he stayed but often times I feel like he hurts the team more than helps and it's simply frustrating. I just want to win.
