That list is irrelevent--it covers FORTY YEARS of players.

If I am defining "WR U" then I don't care what any program has done past 20 years (at the latest)...I would personally look at the last 15 years to make my list.

I am not saying LSU is #1 on that list, but we would be much much higher than where that article has us listed.

(Edit: I didn't read the 14 pages of this thread)

I don't understand the way Scout made those lists. They say that one list is based on college production and one is based on college and NFL production for each position. Rivals did a way better job when they did their Position U series a couple years ago.

It has always been my understanding that position U should be based on NFL talent production because it's supposed to label the school as a factory for that position. A factory is a place that develops things for use by someone else (the NFL).

Billy Cannon was drafted by Houston as RB he hurt his back the second year and then eventually got cut by Houston and Kansas City picked him up and made him a Tightend and then he was traded to Oakland Raiders as a Tightend where he played for about 7 or 8 years.

If you truly take off the Purple and Gold glasses, you'll see that the best school is Ohio State.

Their top 2 is better than the top receiver in Florida History:

Cris Carter
Santonio Holmes (has anyone from Florida ever made such a clutch catch)?

Paul Warfield would rank way ahead of Santonio Holmes at this point in his career for NFL production.
