this looks incredible

now if they'd do something to dress up the SEZ exterior as well... It has a lot of potential with all of that space behind it.

eta: except for the toonces part...that looks like crap

All I can think of is how fricking much caulk they are using, some salesman hit the jackpot on that consummable item. And thank God I am not the one caulking it, it would look like Fideaux's arse...

This is slightly off topic, but since we're talking about the stadium...does anyone know what those structures that run along the upper edge of the bowl were used for? Between each arch, you can see a little hoop and a ledge underneath it right by the top of the bowl. It looks for all the wrold like they were there for flag poles, but I've never seen them used in my lifetime, and I don;t ever recall seeing any photo of Tiger stadium ringed completely every 20 or 30 feet or so with flags on the outside of the stadium.

Does everyone see what I'm talking about, and does anyone know if that's what they are and if so, are there pictures of them in use?

It seems like back in the 70's they had flags all around the stadium.

It is time to turn the old stadium dorms into hotel rooms on game days.

Really? Huh...my first game wasn't until 1982 and I'm fairly certain a sight like that I'd have remembered...so I'm fairly sure it hasn't been done since then at least. But if someone has photos of them being in use at some point, I'd absolutely love to see them!!

I was imagining they could have been additions during WWII maybe...but who knows.

Agree with this. Have thought this for years.

I submitted this design for approval in 2009...

Maybe now that others seem to support the idea - It will get another look.

Everything seems to imply that they're only replacing the windows on the North side of the stadium.

They can't be that stupid, can they?

That or lease them as commercial office space. I'm sure some rich local businessmen (contractors, attorneys, etc) would kill to list Tiger Stadium as their office address.

No I've read somewhere that they're going to replace the ones along the sides as well but that will be sometime in the future. I'm not as concerned with those since they're kinda hidden from the upper decks, but they still need to be replaced. Who knows how long that'll take though.

Does Cajun Field even have windows? Or seats?

The U.S.L. seats are just like the Tulane seats in the Dome. They're mostly costumed and disguised as empty seats like it's Halloween and/or Mardi Gras for them all season.
