The Stare

Our HC had a deer in headlights look just like Miles had when Bama thumped us in the NC game. It's time some of our fans start to realize exactly where this program is and stop assuming we are gonna curb stomp teams such as MSU.
Stare
verb
1. look fixedly or vacantly at someone or something with one's eyes wide open.
noun
1. a long fixed or vacant look.
This program is going to have a long season and many of you better get used to it. Many of you posters are worried about when will Aranda bolt for a HC job or the NFL. Or when our new OC will take a HC job somewhere else. The things that should be concerning are how do these coaches plan on stopping all these penalties. Or how to tackle or block or catch a pass. Our coaching looked just as bad as the previous regime if not worse. Losing is one thing but that performance last night is inexcusable.

That's a lot of shite flying through in one post.
This must be how Charles Xavier feels trying to read someone's mind.

We are going to beat Auburn, split Florida and Tennessee, and beat Arky Aggie.
and Lole Miss. MSU is very strong this year. The season will prove this as I unfolds.

Our fans are delusional

I can agree with you on Auburn, Arky and Aggie, if we can get the penalties fixed. I'm not sure we'll beat UF or UT.
And MSU shouldn't curb stomp us like that. Never. We have too much talent and outrecruit them a ton.

I don't share your optimism. However I do agree that MSU is a lot better than most of the country thought. We are a very undisciplined team. Losing is one thing but getting your brains kicked in is another issue. These coaches better start teaching some basic fundamentals and discipline or it's going to be a long year.

I'm going to hold out hope that this is a talented group that hasn't yet done what they need to become a "team". It seemed like someone was letting the rest of the team down on almost every play. Maybe they'll each take responsibility for their own assignments and get their collective act together. I'm hoping...

Auburn lost to a very good Clemson team.....I doubt that we heat them.....we won't beat Bama or probably FL, either....and if we can't throw the ball any better than last night, there may be a couple of more losses.......in short.......7-5 might be good....

Msu didn't impress me. Most of this was self inflicted and thin DL.

We can barely run the ball this year. We lose to Florida, Auburn, Alabama, possibly Ole Miss, and Tennessee. You could even throw in one out of Aggie and Arkie if the players quit on Ed

You are kidding right? Well if not you can bet MSU impressed our players, especially our OL and DL that got shoved around most of the night. Mullen and Granthom earned their paycheck last night and we got our asses kicked all over the field.
